Hello everyone, I am traveling to Charlottetown from Alberta for the first time. I am a novice diver with only five dives under my belt - it is hard to get lots of dives in land locked Alberta :D.
So, I would like to take the opportunity and go diving at least once while I am in East Coast. So, if there is anyone who is available and willing to show me around my available diving dates are July 30, 31 and August 1st. I would greatly appreciate this. Since this is not certain I am NOT bringing my gear but I will be renting it once there.

A couple of divers out yesterday (both in wetsuits) in Tracadie, water was 52F, there was LOTS of parking & the 7mms did their job well. 42 minute dive with 10 - 15 feet vis. Lots of diving left in PEI this year, (weather permitting). Planning to dive into November - maybe December if weather permits & buddies available... Derek
Had a great turnout in Tracadie on Sunday with 5 divers splashing. Water is still in the low 50's F, but the 7mm wetsuits continue to do their job well. Vis was good, and the parking was great! It's gonna be a long winter, so if the weather holds, hope to get a few more dives in before Christmas... Derek
Just wanted to invite everyone from the Club and if you know of any other divers who would be interested. In joing the NB divers on Deer Island NB for Diver's Potluck next season. We hold two diver's potlucks one the May long weekend and one the Labor Day weekend. I met a few of PEI diver's this summer doing the drift dive at the Campground office and they were heading over to casco bay island to dive.
Anywho.. I wanted to give you all advanced notice so you can mark it on your calender. MAY LONG WEEKEND (VICTORIA DAY LONG WEEKEND) and LABOR DAY WEEKEND IN SEPT. There is Camping at Deer ISland point park and a three nice dive sites.

My name is Marjorie Crousse. I have been organizing these diver's potlucks for 5yrs now. All you have to do is bring yourself and a dish a food(thats enough for yourself and one other) it is BYOB!!
Anywho.. hope next season to see some new faces!!

Just returned from diving in Lake Ontario. Water was 45F and vis went from 30' to 4' at depth. Thanks to D and M for making time for this PEI diver. Hoping to dive in Tracadie tomorrow as current temps won't last - may be the last diving in PEI this year. High tide in Tracadie tomorrow is at 1515. Will update site if I can secure some divers. ALL are welcome.
DIVER'S POTLUCK DATE CHANGED Changed to June 26th weekend. Reason for changing is the weather is more predictable, it's warmer for camping, and many have annual plans already the may long weekend. Diver's Potluck is open to all divers new and old. Andtheir families. Come have some great dives, great food and many laughs around the campfire! bring your favorite dish of food to share(usually a dish enough for you and one other person) Bring your lawn chair and appetite :)

Attending family reunion July 24 to Aug 1 2010. Have own equip or can rent. We are staying in the anglo rustico area. Would like to know if there are any charters happening in this time frame. I am advanced but will be diving with my 16 year old daughter who is a junior open water. She has never done and ocean dive.
